Elm Heights
Care Center offers private and semi-private rooms for 42 area residents.
Fully licensed and accredited, including Medicaid Certification, our
residents can be served on a long term, short term, or convalescent
basis for rehabilitative therapy prior to returning to their own living
arrangements. Short stays are sometimes possible for a temporary
occupancy while family or other caregivers are out of town.
Medical Staff
Personalized service and
around-the-clock supervised care are provided by a staff dedicated to a
tradition of excellence. Our nursing department is fully-staffed
24 hours a day. Medical care is directed by your family physician
and is delivered by Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, assisted
by Certified Nurse Aides. A staff social worker is also available
to assist residents and families. Our professional staff
participates in continuing education to enhance its delivery of
services.
Residents maintain their
relationship with their family physician. In addition, our Medical
Director, Dr. Floyd Jones, is available for consultation with staff in
providing resident care services.
A wide range of services are
available both on-site and as outpatient services for our residents.
They include:
Restorative & Rehabilitative

state-appointed Resident Advocate Committee acts as a liaison for
residents.

Center staff to meet your individual dietary needs.
Our enthusiastic activities
staff and community volunteers provide a full range of group and
individual programs for your enjoyment. Some of our programs

seasonal parties.
Transportation is available
for special outings and to assist residents in meeting local medical
appointments.
Families, friends, pastors,
church groups, and several community groups add support to our residents
and their activities. The Ministerial Association provides Sunday
services and weekly volunteer support.
Newly decorated private and
semi-private rooms are available, complete with a nursing call-light
system. Adjustable beds and outlets for your own telephone and
cable television are available. Plants, pictures, and favorite
armchairs lend a feeling of warmth to each room.
