 The
Shenandoah Medical Center is pleased to announce the renovation of the
new Fremont County Medical Center located in Sidney, Iowa.The clinic consists of three exam rooms, one office, a waiting room, laboratory, break room and a handicap accessible restroom. The Fremont County Medical Center serves Sidney and the surrounding communities. The attending physician is John Bowery, D.O. Dr. Bowery completed his residency and medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine Health Services in Des Moines, Iowa. He has been in Family Practice for 11 years and is a member of AAPS. Dr. Bowery is the supervising physician in the SMC Emergency Department and has held the position of Chief of Staff for Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. Also seeing patients is Connie Holmes ARNP. Holmes is a Board Certified, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). She received a Master’s Degree of the Science of Nursing – Specializing in Family Practice from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. Holmes has been in nursing for 23 years with experience in Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, dermatology, pediatrics, women’s health, and family practice.
