How long is the training?

The program will consist of eight weeks of intense training.  Participants are expected to attend each session for one hour, 3 days a week.
 

Do we do evaluations?

Pre- and post-conditioning evaluations are used to show improvements gained through the program.  Adjustments can be made during the sessions to ensure progress.
 

Can anyone join?

Yes, participants are required to fill out a health questionnaire.  Personal trainers may request a doctor's physical if there are any concerns with the questionnaire.
 

Is it required to go on a diet?

Increasing muscle development will increase the resting metabolism which allows the body to burn more calories per day.  If an individual is interested in losing weight, a nutritional evaluation can be reviewed by the hospital's dietician.
 

What happens after eight weeks?

A Maintenance agenda will be set up.  Participants are urged to work on those exercises to maintain improvements.  The agenda will consist of exercises that can be performed at home.  Or, for a monthly fee, the Personal Training room may be used, under the direction of the personal trainer.
 

How much does it cost?

$50.00/month (initial 4 months)

$30.00/month (monthly maintenance)
