Every stage in a woman's life is special.  The Women's Health Center at the Shenandoah Medical Center specializes in women's health.  We offer a broad spectrum of services and provide the best of care to our patients.  We are proud to benefit our community with this local service.

The Women's Health Center provides comprehensive OB/GYN services.  The professionals also specialize in a full scope of gynecology services, including:

• Permanent sterilization/"no incision procedure"
• Pregnancy management - including high risk pregnancies

The Women's Health Center normal office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm.

Appointments are scheduled during the following times:

                   Monday:        9:00 am - 4:30 pm

                   Tuesday:        1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

                   Wednesday:   9:00 am - 4:30 pm

                   Thursday:       9:00 am - 4:30 pm

                   Friday:            9:00 am - 11:00 am

About the Staff

Dr. Scott King, M.D.

Dr. King, an obstetrician/gynecologist, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).   Dr. King is board certified from 1993 – 2007.

Dr. King, M.D. received his medial degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed a four-year residency specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Scott and White Memorial Hospital – Texas A & M University School of Medicine, Temple Texas and served as Chief Resident the final year.  He has been in private practice in Texas and Michigan.  Dr. King has also been a full-time faculty member at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
